Sailing has been hugely popular for years, with the freedom that comes with meandering over beautiful lakes or around the stunning coastlines of the British Isles. There are hundreds of sailing clubs dotted around the country, and ample opportunity to have a go at sailing on a professionally lead trip, or for those wanting to take it a little more seriously, there are also plenty of places to undergo the basic sailing training.

Sailing is a popular sport in the UK, with hundreds centres and clubs operating on our many lakes, rivers and coastline. In order to sail independently, you will need to have completed some basic training, usually in the form of a RYA (Royal Sailing Association) course. For adults the beginners syllabus is broken into 3 levels and for juniors there are 4 youth stages to complete.
