7Stanes Kirroughtree

The Kirroughtree centre is one of the '7 Stanes' mountain biking centres in Scotland ('Stane' is a Scottish word for 'Stone'). Each of these centres has large stone sculpture to be found along its trails.

The Kirroughtree centre is an award winning centre located at the Kirroughtree Visitor Centre in Galloway Forest Park, Scotland.

A good choice for families, the centre has 6km of green level trails and 10-15km of blue coded track as well as a uncoded skills area to warm up and test your abilities.

Parking, toilets and shower facilities are available at the visitor centre and bikes can be hired from nearby shops such as The Breakpad Bike and Outdoor Shop and the Kirkcowan Cycles.
