Abereiddy Beach in Pembrokeshire has pebbles and dark sand made up of grey slate, which also gives the water a deep blue colour which has led to the bay being named the 'Blue Lagoon'.
Abereiddy is one of the less crowded surfing beaches in the area. This beach break works best in the winter months and is fairly consistent. Local windswells and distant groundswells are equally as likely to produce waves here, ideally from west southwest.
Facilities include limited parking and toilets. Shops and refreshments can be found in St. Davids.
