Buckland Lake is a flooded 60 acre chalk quarry transformed into a nature reserve in Rochester, Kent.
There are many submerged attractions for divers to explore including a small cabin cruiser, a Falcon jet aircraft, a flat bed lorry trailer, yacht, speedboat, boat wrecks, underwater forests, gnome garden, lifelike great white shark, an old pump house with a large well and trench, as well as the use of a CESA platform, training platform, confined water training area.
Lakeside facilities include equipment hire, café, toilet block, shower room, baby changing facility, disabled toilet and parking.
Before you go
The site is open to all qualified divers and those undertaking a recognised training course.
