Carbis Bay is a blue flag awarded beach near St. Ives in Cornwall.
This is a fairly exposed beach break that provides occasionally good surfing conditions, albeit small compared with other spots around this part of the coast. It's usually better in the winter and spring months and is sometimes crowded in the summer months. When conditions are good, many people surf here.
Facilities include parking, toilets and nearby refreshments. It is also possible to hire equipment and take part in lessons near here.
