Dartmoor is a veritable wonderland for the intrepid adventurer, or those with a yearning to feel the breeze float through the surrounding wildflowers.

Dartmoor and the Dartmoor National Park can be found in Devon, towards the south of the county, covering a total of 368 square miles. It is an area known for its stunning high open moorland capped with exposed granite tops and is a haven for all kinds of wildlife, protected by national park status. It is particularly famous for the semi wild ponies which roam here, a sight which draws plenty of tourists every year.
